  • Best area to stay in KL

Which part of the city do you think is best to stay in? I have tried Chinatown and Bukit Bintang but need new ideas for my next trip to Malaysia.

Bukit Bintang is the most popular tourist area where there are several shopping centers and many restaurants/street food at Jalan Alor.
One of the most iconic landmarks here is Pavilion KL, an upscale shopping mall that houses European luxury retailers such as Coach, Diane Von Furstenberg, Dolce & Gabbana, Juicy Couture, MaxMara, Versace, and Yves Saint Laurent.

Yeah I actually checked out Pavilion a couple of times. We are there in Fridays which was nice. I did not shop at any of those stores though!

I've stayed in Bandar Baru Bangi, Putrajaya, and Sri Petaling. Sri Petaling is really nice, there's a small shopping square that's a great place to go to eat. They have some really nice cafes in the shopping square too.

That sounds like a great area. I love to try new food when I travel so having great places to eat nearby is always something I look for.
